Letter to Nancy Pelosi
As an American, I am grateful to live in a country where I can start from nothing and end up something. I am grateful for a country that lets us as a nation enjoy religious freedoms, social activities with family and friends, lets us express our opinions and, that lets us have joy if we so choose to. I am grateful for a country that lets us as American’s feel fairly safe at night, and let our children feel safe. However, I know that none of this would be possible if it were not for our brave soldiers who have died to protect this country. My heart is full to the men and women who sacrifice so much even their lives, just so we as American’s can live in prosperity. My heart is full with gratitude and thanks for those fallen soldiers and their families who had to endure losing a son, daughter, father, or mother. But their deaths will not be in vain because like many Americans, we know how important they are to our society. They are the core of what we as American’s stand for, Freedom. So I ask you, no, I beg you not to release those photos that would jeopardize our soldiers and this wonderful Nation that we live in. “A man’s country is not a certain area of land, of mountains, rivers, and woods, but it is a principle; and patriotism is loyalty to that principle.” George William Curtis. Nancy Pelosi, ask yourself, are you being loyal to that principle?Macaul Rowe
